The Power of Partnerships

We are grateful to the organizations that have partnered with us to serve our neighbors, friends and members of our church. We thank the City of Philadelphia for helping us to provide free Covid-19 testing; and the Black Doctors Covid-19 Consortium for holding two free testing events. Victory Christian Center is committed to doing our part in helping to control the spread of the virus in our community. We are also supporting families through our Food for Your Child Program which provides 5 free breakfast and 5 lunch meals weekly. Every year we host a "Getting Your House in Order" event in collaboration with the offices of State Representative James Roebuck and Ward Leader Jannie Blackwell to give homeowners and citizens access to critical resources and information from agencies like PECO and PGW to name a few. Last year we were honored to be selected by the American Heart Association-Philadelphia and Penn Medicine for their "Getting Healthy Together" Program which included blood pressure screenings, healthy cooking sessions, a Farmer's Market, exercise classes and other resources to promote health and wellness. Through our Conquers Community Development Corporation we have been recently named a Helping Hub which opens the path to critical services via referrals to partnering organizations. We thank our partners past and present for helping us to meet the needs of our neighbors and community.
